Welcome to Adoption Advisory, Inc.
From its inception, Adoption Advisory, Inc. has been committed to the emotional and physical health of the birth mother. We respect your right to be treated with dignity at all times.

Your Emotional Health
Our agency is staffed by a team of well-trained and highly experienced individuals to answer any questions and to talk with you personally day or night. Your personal counselor will help you set positive goals and make productive plans for your future. She treats you as an individual, always keeping your unique needs and abilities in mind. After the baby is born, your counselor remains available to you as long as you feel the need. She can also refer you to one of the many available community resources or refer you to a licensed Clinical Psychologist for further counseling. We recognize your desire for privacy. We go to extra lengths to guarantee the confidentiality of all information relating to you. Remember, you are making a healthy decision for yourself and the baby. We are here for you every step of the way.

Your Physical Health
With Adoption Advisory, Inc., you receive the best possible medical care. You have the choice of seeing either a male or female doctor in their private office as a private patient. You will be given a private room in one of the area's best hospitals at the time of delivery. There is never a cost to you for the services provided by Adoption Advisory, Inc. In fact, when necessary, transportation to and from the doctor's office and financial assistance can be arranged for you.

The Baby's New Parents
Placement decisions for the newborn are made according to the best possible match with the adoptive parents. We encourage you, as the birth mother, to participate in this decision. We respect your wishes that the child be raised by a family that shares similar philosophies in child rearing as you. Before matching the child with the adoptive parents, the adoptive parents are carefully screened, investigated and psychologically tested to insure their abilities as good, loving, nurturing and stable parents.

You Can Make Dreams Come True
As the birth mother you have a unique opportunity to help a couple make their dreams come true. Fourteen percent of the married couples in the United States face a problem with infertility. That equates to an estimated 2.5 million couples of child-bearing age who are medically infertile. But does that mean they cannot have families of their very own? Of course not. The miracle of adoption enables a couple to move beyond their feelings of disappointment and sadness and realize their dream of a family. Being able to open their home to a child, nurture deep loving feelings and provide him or her with a happy, healthy life is the miracle that makes adoption a life-enriching event for everyone involved. It is also what defines the adoptive family as a family in the truest sense from the very start. Adoption gives a child the opportunities he or she would not have if born to a woman not prepared to take on the responsibilities of motherhood. Adoption gives the birth mother a healthy option she can feel good about. Adoption is a positive life choice for all involved. Thanks to you, the new adoptive parents' dream of a family will finally become reality.

The Answers To Unplanned Pregnancy
Unfortunately, not every pregnancy is planned or wanted. Finding yourself with an unexpected pregnancy can be a frightening experience, but we are here for you. There are several options available to you. When considering the future you'll ask yourself two important questions --- "What's best for me and what's best for the baby?" Should the answer be adoption, you are not alone. Each year thousands of women from all walks of life choose adoption. They take pride in making a positive choice for themselves and the children they bring into this world. Adoption Advisory, Inc. strives to always provide what's best for you and what's best for the baby. Let's first look at why you might consider adoption.

Who Are You?
You are not alone in your unexpected, unplanned pregnancy. There is no individual profile of the women who turn to adoption. You are in a group that ranges from the teenager striving to earn her high school diploma to the widowed working mother of teenage children.

The Adoption Choice
Your first responsibility is to provide the baby with a happy, healthy and enriched life. You know that cannot happen if you are not prepared to care for a child. The adoption choice gives the child a head start. He or she will have loving parents who have made the conscious decision they want a child and have the financial stability and loving home needed to properly care for a child. In addition, you provide for your own future by relieving yourself of a responsibility you know, for your own reasons, you're not prepared to take on. You can be assured the choice you are making will provide the brightest future for you and the baby.
